There are many monuments about Turkish ancestors in Turkey. But, everybody know that, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is the most important ancestor for Turks. Because, he established Turkey Republic in 1923. So he is always the most valuable ancestor for Turks. He made many good things for Turkish people , Turkey Republic and Turkish Culture. For example; Revolutions which have been made by Ataturk are very important for future of Turkey.
He died in 1938, in Dolmabahce Palace where is in İstanbul. Turkish authorized persons should have a monument for him, after he had made many good things for Turkey. Afterwards a building contest was held about monument and two Turkish architects have selected by authorized persons. The submitted Turkish projects had been liked by many people, before did not begin the building of monument. Afterwards project began in Ankara where is metropolitan of Turkey. Everybody thought same idea. This mausoleum should built in Ankara.
This wonderful monument was finished by architects and experts in 1953. The most strong concrete was used for building. Authorities had taken a lot of measures for building. Anitkabir is always visited by Turks. Many foreign tourists also visit to Anitkabir where is always open for people. When you came to Ankara for travelling, you can see and can visit to Anitkabir where is Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s mausoleum. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is known as one of the most important leaders in the World.
